Olivia “Moy” Fung
Candidate for Ward 10 City Councillor
Listening to residents. Working for a stronger Ward 10.
Meet Olivia ‘Moy’ Fung
Olivia “Moy” Fung is a proud Ward 10 resident with years of experience in community leadership, business, nonprofit service, and advocacy.
She may be newer to Ward 10, but she brings a long-standing commitment to listening, serving, and building practical solutions for people and families.
Through her work in Hamilton and across the community, Moy has supported youth, seniors, families, entrepreneurs, and organizations working to meet real needs.
She is running for City Councillor to bring a people-first approach to Ward 10, grounded in service, accountability, and a genuine desire to see residents and local communities thrive.
What I’m Learning About Ward 10
As I continue listening, learning, and reviewing the issues shaping Ward 10, a few priorities are clear. Ward 10 is growing, and with that growth comes real questions about housing, roads, infrastructure, local businesses, green space, and the kind of community residents want to protect and build.
These priorities will continue to be shaped by conversations with residents, families, local business owners, seniors, community groups, and people who care deeply about the future of Stoney Creek, Fruitland, and Winona.
Responsible Growth & Housing
Supporting thoughtful growth that considers housing needs, affordability, infrastructure, traffic, and the character of established neighbourhoods. Ward 10 needs development that works for people, not just development for its own sake.
Roads, Traffic & Safe Movement
Improving road safety, traffic flow, walkability, transit access, and active transportation so residents can move through Ward 10 safely and with confidence.
Infrastructure That Keeps Up
Making sure roads, water, wastewater, stormwater, parks, and community services keep pace as Ward 10 continues to grow. Strong communities need strong infrastructure behind them.
Local Economy & Community Life
Supporting small businesses, local entrepreneurs, community spaces, and the neighbourhood connections that help make Ward 10 a place where people want to live, work, gather, and raise their families.
Thank you! Moy looks forward to connecting with you.
